Day 4: Post a picture of someone with the body you would like to have. What features do you like about this person?
I have a new fitness goal, not a weight goal, but instead a focus on fitness, particularly improving my lean mass and reducing my body fat percentage to 15%. In the past, I’ve focused on weight loss and have done just that. But I have hit a wall and been needing inspiration to take myself to the next level and keep from gaining that weight back! My parents were always into bodybuilders and my Mom thought I’d be a great bodybuilder. I never thought about it seriously.  Lately, in researching how to reduce my body fat, I have become infatuated with figure competitors. At 6ft tall I dont fit the model of most female figure or bikini competitors. Most are around 5’5”. But I have liked the build and fitness careers of Monique Minton-Ricardo (5’10”) and Erin Stern (5’7”). Monique is a “cover girl, fitness model, IFBB pro bikini, MuscleTech Athlete and Brazilian Jiu jitsu World Champion.” I like that she is doing something with her physique. She is applying it to a sport, a skill that can be part of a lifestyle. I have a crush on Erin Stern—her thighs and her strength! I want them nao! I have watched her YouTube channel. Stern flips over tractor tires like they are donuts! She hang snatches as if it was nothing. She conquers. I want that strength and that physique. Of course, I have a different body type than Monique or Erin. But looking at them both, I am excited to see what I have in me.
